Thermal Imaging Scope PULSAR AXION 2 XG35
Improved image processing algorithms
Axion 2 thermal imagers use a new approach to image optimization depending on the objectives and observation conditions and provide high-quality rendering of both target objects and background.
Three levels of signal amplification combined with an attached smoothing filter and fine brightness and contrast settings give the observer great opportunities for long-range detection of the animal under different weather and temperature conditions and to determine its properties.
High quality reinforced magnesium alloy housing
Axion is designed for continuous and often harsh use.
A magnesium alloy housing is light and strong at the same time.
The housing reliably protects the internal components of the thermal imaging device from shocks, drops, moisture, heat or cold.
At the same time, a metal housing effectively removes heat from the electronics, minimizes image noise, and increases the consistency of device operation during long-term observation.
High-sensitivity European-made Lynred sensor
Axion 2 Thermal Imaging devices are equipped with European Lynred sensors with a resolution of 640×480 pixels (12 µm pixel size), which qualitatively capture a useful signal below from difficult observation conditions such as rain, fog and high atmospheric humidity at the observation point.
F35/1.0 Fast Aperture Lens
The Germanium F35/1.0 lens has high infrared transmission in the LWIR range.
Due to the high-precision manufacturing of the optical elements of the lens, the image created by the sensor of the thermal imager Axion 2 stands out for its sharpness and details.
Long battery life
Up to 11 hours on a single charge
A high-capacity APS5 rechargeable battery provides, depending on the model, up to 11 hours of continuous thermal imager operation on a single charge.
The battery is removed from its housing and replaced with a new one in seconds.
The battery is charged in a special charger or inside the device from a computer, home electrical system or power bank via USB-C.
The same sources are used to externally power a thermal imager.
Improved Wi-Fi connectivity with 2.4 / 5 GHZ waveband support
In Axion 2 thermal imagers, the standard smartphone connection frequency range via a 2.4 GHz WiFi channel is supplemented with an active range of 5 GHz.
The 5 GHz connection offers better bandwidth, faster data transfer rate, noise coverage and improved connection stability, resulting in more productive and easier smartphone thermal imager operation.
Detection range up to 1750 m
A powerful F35/1.0 objective lens combined with highly sensitive thermal imaging sensors provide excellent detection capabilities.
A typical 1.8 meter high object can be detected up to 1750 meters away in complete darkness.
Pocket-sized dimensions and light weight
Axion 2 has a space-saving design that is pocket-sized and weighs 300 grams.
The device is easy to grip and operate for both right- and left-handed users due to the symmetrical design and the in-line button arrangement on the top panel.
Variable Magnification
Digital zoom provides improved focus and better overall recognition of objects at significant distances.
The zoom changes either incrementally in 2x steps or continuously for a truly optimal, customized field of view for specific situations.
Built-in photo and video recorder. Free cloud space 16 GB
Axion 2 has a built-in video recorder.
Axion 2's internal memory can store hours of video and tens of thousands of photos.
One press of a button is enough to take a photo of an interesting scene or start recording a video.
The material is copied to a computer hard drive via a USB-C port.
The Axion 2 owner gets 16GB of free disk space to store photos and videos taken with the device on the Pulsar cloud storage.
Simply install the Stream Vision 2 mobile app, log in and connect the device to a smartphone via WiFi.
Remote smartphone operation and firmware update via Stream Vision 2 App
Built-in WiFi connects the Axion 2 to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile app.
This opens up a wide range of options such as wireless device software updates, image transmission in real time from the device to the smartphone screen, posting to social media of photo and video content taken by the device or transfer to messenger, remote control of digital device functions and access to the latest news from Pulsar.
Additionally, registered users get 16GB of cloud storage for photos and videos recorded with the device.
Quick start
Axion 2 has a short activation time: the device is fully functional within 5 seconds after pressing the ON button.
Quick start helps save battery power: when hunting, Axion 2 doesn't need to be always ready, just turn it on when needed
IPX7 Fully Waterproof
IPX7 Waterproof to protect against heavy rain, snow or other precipitation.
The unit is designed to function flawlessly, even after being submerged in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes
High-contrast AMOLED display
A high-contrast AMOLED display has improved color rendering, power saving and fast response, providing sharp and smooth images that are visible even under frost.
A choice of 8 color palettes
The choice of 8 color palettes allows the user to observe their field of view more efficiently, allowing them to optimize the unit for specific tasks as well as react to changing observation conditions.
White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot are optimal for detecting objects, Rainbow and Ultramarine help to increase the chances of identification.
Red monochrome, sepia and violet are most suitable for night observation.
